Fumigation wooden crate

I. Definitions and Scope of Application
Fumigated wooden crates: Constructed from solid wood (such as pine, mixed hardwood, and hard mixed hardwood) and subjected to heat treatment or methyl bromide fumigation, they comply with the international phytosanitary standard ISPM 15 and are used for export packaging and the containment of heavy cargo.
II. Raw Material Requirements
Types of wood
Solid wood such as pine, hard mixed wood, and poplar
Free from decay, insect damage, blue stain, large live knots, and through cracks.
Moisture content
After fumigation/heat treatment: ≤20%
Component Specifications (Standard)
Panel thickness: 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm
Timber squares/frames: 30×50, 40×60, 50×70, 60×80, 80×80 mm, etc., selected according to load-bearing requirements.
Base timber: Commonly used for heavy-duty crates are 80×80 mm and 100×100 mm.
III. Fumigation/Heat Treatment Requirements
Must comply with the standard.

Two processing methods
Heat Treatment (HT)
Kiln drying/heat treatment: core wood temperature ≥ 56°C for ≥ 30 minutes.
MB Methyl Bromide Fumigation
Apply pesticides in enclosed spaces in accordance with quarantine regulations.
IPPC mark (must be stamped)
The exterior of the enclosure must be clearly marked with an imprint:
