The box stiles are typically made from LVL longitudinal boards or solid timber squares, with some sections reinforced by galvanized steel straps. The manufacturing process includes high-temperature pest eradication, ensuring compliance with ISPM 15 standards; the product is fumigation-free and eligible for direct export, bearing the IPPC mark.
Common Structural Types
Fixed type: nailed or glued as a single unit, offering high strength and suitable for heavy-duty equipment;
Detachable steel-strapped crates: secured with buckles and steel straps, enabling disassembly, reuse, and reduced warehousing and return-trip freight costs.
Foldable: Can be folded and stacked, making it ideal for high-frequency turnover and space-constrained environments.

IV. Key Points for Selection and Acceptance
Confirm the IPPC marking (in compliance with ISPM 15); a certificate of compliance must be requested for all exports.
Verify the plywood’s thickness, number of plies, and moisture content (typically maintained between 8% and 12%) to prevent softening due to moisture absorption.
The load-bearing and reinforcement plan must be tailored to the cargo weight and mode of transport (land, sea, or air).
Clearly determine whether waterproofing, fumigation certificates, mark printing, and internal cushioning (pearl cotton, foam, or paper honeycomb) are required.
