Substrate and Components
Side panels: solid wood strips and 3- or 5-ply plywood strips (ISPM 15–fumigation-free), with longitudinal and transverse grid members securely cross-braced; spacing adjusted to meet cargo protection and visibility requirements.
Base: Solid wood square / LVL longitudinal board pallet, with standard forklift slots and optional lifting lugs;
Connectors: galvanized nails, snap fasteners, and steel strap reinforcement; some models feature hinged flaps or detachable side panels.
Compliance marking: Export shipments must bear the IPPC mark to qualify for fumigation-free direct customs clearance.
Common Structural Types
Fixed grating box: integrally nailed for high strength, suitable for heavy-duty equipment;
Detachable/foldable grating box: the side panels and base are detachable/foldable, resulting in a small footprint for empty-box return trips and lower warehousing costs.
Local sealing combined with a grille: bottom and key surfaces are sealed to prevent parts from falling, while the sides feature a grille for ventilation, balancing safety and breathability.

Customizable and flexible: grille spacing, panel thickness, base load capacity, internal cushioning (pearl cotton, foam, or paper honeycomb), and waterproof coating can all be tailored to your specifications; lock latches and label printing are also available.
